Fashion Week: Betsey Johnson’s girls just wanna have fun
Betsey Johnson always has a good time at her supersize fashion show during Fashion Week. This year she scaled back for a more intimate affair, but from all accounts it was still big on entertainment.
She showed 25 pieces in her showroom that had been transformed into an apartment with offices as rooms for guests to munch on baked goodies, burgers and candy, and the main space as a living room, complete with an couches, according to the Associated Press.
The theme was snacks. Who else but Betsey could build a collection around that? What you need to remember about any Betsey show is that she puts together the outfits in ways that most women won’t. Many of the pieces are great on their own. Sometimes it’s just difficult to see past the layers.
