Actress and model Brooke Shields — fresh from the television series “Lipstick Jungle” – is the spokeswoman for Coppertone’s new beauty line, Coppertone NutraShield with Dual Defense.
NutraShield with Dual Defense is a broad spectrum lotion enriched with antioxidants that promote natural skin repair and combat premature skin aging from the sun.

I think Brooke Shields is a great choice for Coppertone. I guess because we’ve all sort of “grown up” with her (hasn’t she been an icon of beauty for 30 years now??), we can relate to her need to keep that flawless skin. I read a good interview with Brooke Shields where she discusses how she juggles her celebrity roles with her role as a mom. Being “relatable” is important, I think, in advertising, don’t you?
