Take a peek at NARS’ new spring makeup colors
NARS has introduced its spring 2009 color collection, a 1970s splash of pastel hues and berry shades. The collection also includes two new products, which could become cult favorites and must-haves, much like some of NARS other products.
Here are the highlights:
Hungry Heart blush duo
* New Blush Duo, $37. The double compacts offers one highlighting and one sculpting shade. New shade: Hungry Heart, iridescent gold ivory and pink sand with golden sheen.
Duo Concealer in Custard/Ginger
* New Duo Concealer, $30. The newpalette features two complementary shades that can be blended together or used individually. It’s creamy and crease-resistant. Shades: Vanilla/Honey for fair complexions; Custard/Ginger for light to medium; Praline/Toffee for medium to dark complexions.
* Duo eyeshadow, $32. New shades: Egea, frosted sagee and smoky lilac, and Hula Hula, strawberry with gold particles and hazelnut with gold glitter particles.
Single eyeshadow in Grenadines
* Single eyeshadow, $22. New shades: Baby Girl, cotton candy with golden undertones and gold particles; Grenadines, matte garnet; and Night Sun, bright marigold with gold particles.
* Multiple duo, $45. Two-in-one convenience pairs the complementary shades of Orgasm and South Beach, a peachy pink and apricot with shimmer.
* Multiple bronzer, $37. Formulated to strengthen, support and repair the skin while creating an all-over warmth and contour. New shade: Cap Vert for medium to dark complexions with red undertones.
* Lip gloss, $24. Sheer and shiny. New shade: Sweet Revenge, a sheer pink grapefruit.
* Lipstick, $24. The creamy formula glides on smoothly and leaves a hint of sexy shine. New shade: Shrinager, a metallic raspberry.
