Drink up: Evian introduces designer bottle
I didn’t make it to Paris Fashion Week, alas, and therefore missed the launch of the newest Evian Natural Spring Water designer bottle collection for 2009.
The newest addition is the Evian Pret-a-Porter Bottle and the Evian Haute Couture Bottle by Jean Paul Gaultier. The Pret-a-Porter, or ready-to-wear, bottle is said to possess a style that is classic, yet modern and adorned with a pattern of interlocking snowflakes. The bottle recalls the crisp, icy mountain tops of the French Alps from which Evian Natural Spring Water is derived.
Only seven of the Haute Couture Bottles will be released worldwide, with the carafes traveling around the globe to be exhibited at select locations. The collection will then be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the Evian Water Protection Institute, which restores and maintains wetlands.
The Gaultier bottles follow the highly successful Limited Edition Evian Bottle by Christian Lacroix.
