Fashion, beauty industries support Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness. Here are more ways the beauty and industries are helping raise awareness and funds.
*Two percent of profits generated by the sale of Artemis Woman Heel Smoother in Pink will go to the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.
*A portion from the sale of each Pink PedEgg will help fund breast cancer research.
*Twenty percent of the retail cost from the Japonesque Pink Go Curler and $1 from each Pink Manicure Kit will benefit the City of Hope Foundation.
* Five percent of proceeds from the sale of Body Drench Bosom Cream will benefit the Cancer Insitute of New Jersey.
*Five dollars from the sale of each Splendid pink tank will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
*Mackage’s Hope coat, sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue, sells for $695 and $100 from each sale will go to the Breast Cancer Resarch Foundation.
*For every bra purchased from the Wacoal Embrace Lace and Awareness collections, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
*Twenty percent of proceeds from the DuWop Shimmer Brick to the Cosmetic Executive Women Cancer and Careers Foundation.
*One hundred percent from the sale of Philosophy Shower for the Cure will be donated to the Women’s Cancer Research Fund.
*This month edressme.com will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the sale of select designer items to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
