SJP’s new clothes
Who among us is surprised that actress and fashion leader Sarah Jessica Parker is introducing her own clothing line?
The collection, called Bitten, is expected to be high-quality, affordably priced sportswear for women of all ages and sizes.
According to online reports, the pieces will be sold exclusively at all Steve & Barry’s locations beginning June 7, with every item priced at $19.98 or less.
Why Bitten? Word is she became “bitten” with Steve & Barry’s after her first visit. Read more in my column in The Oklahoman on March 25.

I like to dress fashionably and would like to know why clothing manufacturers are making clothes with such thin material that clings to those of us who have fat rolls. I can’t find a casual tee shirt that looks good on me. There is a place for clingy fabrics, and that is in the small sizes, not in the larger sizes (10 & up). I am 20 lbs overweight which isn’t considered obese for a 60 year old, but I am short waisted and the extra lbs sit around my middle.
Please explore this issue in an upcoming article.
8/16/07 The current “You” has a photo of Catherine Zeta Jones in a short, formless, red dress; I did not think it was possible to make that woman look bad, but this dress did it! Same as the above photo of Sarah Jessica Parker in this short red balloon dress; it draws attention to her bony legs. Two beautiful women who did not pick a complimentary dress.
