<p>I&#8217;m also a big fan of his <a href="http://www.tednaifeh.com/nightthings/index.htm" title="Courtney Crumrin">Courtney Crumrin</a> series and he talks about who would play some of the characters in the movie, if there were one.  For Uncle Aloysius he mentions <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0491402/" title="Hugh Laurie IMDB">Hugh Laurie </a>(hmm, a little to quirky I think), <a href="http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&amp;q=al+pacino" title="Al Pacino IMDB">Al Pacino </a>(overrated) and <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0915989/" title="Hugo Weaving IMDB">Hugo Weaving</a> (perfect!).  He&#8217;s smart enough not to cast a Courtney, though he mentions <a href="http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&amp;q=dakota+fanning" title="Dakota Fanning IMDB">Dakota Fanning</a>.  It sounds like he&#8217;s thought seriously about this.  I&#8217;m not sure how I would feel about a movie.  I&#8217;m usually disappointed in comics to movies though I know it&#8217;s not fair to compare.  Yes, of course, I liked the <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/" title="Dark Knight IMDB">Dark Knight</a>, it&#8217;s the law to like it.  And yes, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0401792/" title="Sin City IMDB">Sin City </a>was very cool to look at but those books felt like movies.  Courtney feels more, I don&#8217;t know, personal.  Plus, she looks so cool and vunerable, how can that translate to a human being with a nose? </p>
<p><a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2929794.The_Good_Neighbors_Book_One_Kin?utm_medium=api&amp;utm_source=blog_book"><img align="left" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51bfrqmRllL._SL160_.jpg" alt="The Good Neighbors, Book One: Kin" /></a>He also discusses his new book, <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2929794.The_Good_Neighbors_Book_One_Kin?utm_medium=api&amp;utm_source=blog_book" title="The Good Neighbors">The Good Neighbors</a>, with young adult fantasy author <a href="http://www.blackholly.com/" title="Official Holly Black site">Holly Black</a>.  I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, especially if you&#8217;re a fan of Holly Black&#8217;s.  Not all prose authors can make the leap to graphic novels *cough* <a href="http://www.jodipicoult.com/" title="Official Jodi Picoult site">Jodi Picoult</a> *cough* but Black pulls it off effortlessly.  It&#8217;s a fairy story of course and paired with Naifeh&#8217;s sharp artwork, it should be a hit!</p>
