Tiamat’s Reviews takes a look at one of my favorite series, Chocolat. Unfortunately, it looks like volume 7 isn’t all that great. Bummer. I’m still going to read it though!
Comics Worth Reading read a biography about the 14th Dalai Lama. – OK going off topic. In one of my classes in college (OCU), the professor was talking about the Dalai Lama. The woman next to me, in all seriousness, asked me “Isn’t that the sheep they cloned?” Ha! So now when ever I see anything about the Dalai Lama I instantly think – “Well, look at that, there’s that sheep they cloned.” Which is probably blasphemous on some level.

Fair enough. Though, really, I think the Dalai Lama would himself find the humor in the misunderstanding or mishearing – our professor had a tendency to drone on. I always just assumed the woman only caught part of what he said.
re: Dahli Lama and “sheep they cloned.” What a hoot! I agree, Sadie. I think the Dali Lama would have a hearty laugh over that. He is such a gentle man, and he understands the positive power of laughter.
No, you’re not blasphemous, nor is the woman next to you in class – just profoundly immature. You’re not offending Buddhists so much as displaying ignorance and immaturity.
