Free MANGA – yeah!!
Oh, but you do have to work for it.
Brigid over at MangaBlog is giving away three copies of Osamu Tezuka’s Black Jack. Just leave a comment with your favorite 2008 manga series. Even if you don’t win be sure to check out the answers, there was some great, diverse manga published this year!
For my vote, I loved the shojo series Honey and Clover, as well as, Sand Chronicles. Before you fanboys roll your eyes right out of your heads, I also enjoyed the creepy, insane, hell-on-earth carnival ride that is Gantz.

I will do my best to follow diligently and work to educate myself so that I too can recognize and appreciate graphic novels. You have already done more to open my eyes to this literary genre than I would have done left on my own. If in fact there are graphic novels that your father would read, be sure to let me know and I will hustle right out and get it for him. Best of luck with your newest blog.

Say ‘Hi’ to your aunt
So I am completely unfamiliar with graphic novels, although I must say the title does sound like some paperbacks that were passed around the sorority house years ago with the good pages marked – I’m just saying. However, I have already learned something – what in the world a ‘feed’ is and how to subscribe to one. I look forward to reading, after all, you come from a family of wanna be authors. Perhaps I will borrow one of these graphic novels from you so I can know what in the world you are talking about, I just hope you mark the good parts.
