Well said Russ, but it is the attitude that alot of black people have in this state that is causing alot of the racial tension. Obama says in his book that he hates white people so in return he is going to get it back.

I understand their are some racist idiots out there, on both sides of the aisle I might add, however your comment was referring to either Dr. Coburn or Governer Fallin’s “backward” comments. Your statement was implying that you feel those elected officials are just like one of the morons you heard make a racist comment in a Walmart. I am a registered independent, so I am not one of those mindless followers of a Republican for the sake of being a Republican. The comments they have made about this administration in know way reflect any racism. It is 100% about policy. Stop worrying about the 1% of Oklahomans who are racist jerks. They are not the majority. The majority don’t like President Obama because of what the Socialism he stands for, not for being “young” or “modern” or “black.”

I am just trying to get people to see the public’s disdain for what he stands for, not for the one hope Liberals have to salvagae his re-election- racial division. The Left has done a wonderful job of brainwashing folks into voting for him using the race card only. Race, gender, sexual orientation, heigth, age, good looks, etc. is unfortunately the only thing many many American’s factor when voting. It sickens me that people don’t care enough to know about the issues and integrity that candidates do or don’t posses.

Russ, if you live in Oklahoma like I do you know this state is full of bigotry and racism……I hear it every where I go,at work, in the grocery store, in Walmart, makes no difference where I am if the conversation turns to the President some fool is sure to use a racial slur in referring to him….and they don’t even try to hide it. So when I used that phrase I meant every word of it.

To Kathryn: Why was it neccessary to include the word “black” when describing President Obama? Comments like that are what continues to fuel racism. Is that the only thing that an uneducated liberal can muster as a reason why people don’t like the man? Most Oklahaman’s I know hope Obama does not get re-elected, however it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the color of his skin. His policies combined with those of Harry Reed, Nancy Pelosi, and the gang have done a wonderful job of putting this country into a pit that may be too deep to climb. Their policies are both bankrupting our country and destroying the liberties of America’s tax payers.

I swear, could our state officials be more backward and ugly? I know a lot of Okies don’t like our young, black, modern President but we look like a bunch of fools who don’t know how to eat with a fork yet.
