Job openings at OKCPS
Oklahoma City schools Superintendent Karl Springer left me a voicemail last night referring to yesterday’s post about the Dallas district layoffs. Here’s part of his message:
“Hi Wendy, it’s Karl Springer. Hey, I’ve been reading your blog on the Dallas Independent School District. We have openings in Oklahoma City for some teachers – several elementary positions. Be nice to be able to get some of those people from Dallas to apply.”

I am interested in applying for a teaching job and would like to few the openings. I am a recent Oklahoma State graduate.
I plan to return to Oklahoma by August. I am certified as a principal in both states. (OK./TX.) I would love to visit with the personnel director about a principal or assistant principals job.
I am a Filipino National but I have my document (Transcript of record)authenticated at Oklahoma’s ministry of Education (I am not so sure which department) through the help of my American Pastor.
I have lots of correspondents from different School in Ok way back then but was stopped due the Sept. 11 incident.
Presently I am working here in Dubai as an administrator in a Norwagean company but I am still interested to work in your State.
My questions are:
1. Is my Authentic Document still Valid?
2. What are the needed documents/proceedure so I can post through with my desire to teach in one of your Schools?
