Moving comments from teachers let go from Dallas schools

Expected layoffs came today for teachers across the Dallas Independent School District. This is a simple post to send you over to the Dallas Morning News’ education blog, where you can read posts from those teachers and their colleagues about the impact today is having. Some comments are rather poignant.

All Kinds of Minds (often referred to Schools Attuned) is experiencing financial problems after Dr. Levine separated from the firm last year. On Tuesday, the company reduced its workforce by 15% and plans to reduce the work week to 4 days for those employees remaining aboard. The company also plans to cut employee salary by 10%. The company has experienced low interest in the services they offer.
