Steve reports shoppers may want to consider property in “the Steelyard”, just east of Bricktown. You’ll also have to consider parting with $13 million.

Meanwhile, A is for Apology. Apple CEO Steve Jobs has apologized and offered $100 credits to people who paid up to $599 for an iPhone this summer. And then were burned when the company chopped $200 from the price.

Tomorrow, the Sooners host Miami. The Oklahoman today looked at ticket scalping and the word on the street regarding prices. How much? eBay prices range up to $600. By comparison, tickets for Notre Dame at Penn State this weekend are around $400. Last season’s Michigan at Ohio State game had average prices over $1,200. OU-Texas tickets usually go for more than $400.

]]> You might have guessed it. The Pac-10 Conference has the worst football referees. Sooner fans will definitely agree with this Seattle Times’ poll. The Times polled 42 coaches, including Sooner coach Bob Stoops, asking opinions on which conference had the most incompetent officiating. The Big Ten was voted the best.

Dancing with the Stars has announced its fall roster. Mark Cuban, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Wayne Newton anyone? They are among the 12 celebs who will compete. Dancing begins Sept. 24 on ABC.

Are you excited about the new iPod? Apple has distributed invitations to a Sept. 5 event in San Francisco, and industry people are speculating it’s for a new family of iPods. Can you say full screen video iPod?
