]]> Angi and I taped a segment over the past two weeks about what OKC’s potential NBA should be called. I say two weeks because we went out to Oklahoma Christian’s clock dedication a couple weeks ago where we ran into Gov. Brad Henry. His response was “the Henry’s.” Pretty good.


We also asked Oklahoma citizens their thoughts and The Oklahoman’s sports staff for theirs.

Honestly, I haven’t heard a proposed team name I really like. Not that it matters. But I’m a big NBA fan. Big Lakers fan, grew up that way. I’ve bought the NBA League Pass for years and stay up past midnight watching the Lakers as their West coast home games begin at 9:30 pm Oklahoma time. Anyway, I’d be disappointed for OKC to have a lame name.
