Celtics crush Thunder

Went to the Thunder game last night. Celtics came to town. I hate the Celtics. Grew up a Lakers fan, for no reason. I mean, I wish I grew up on the beach, going to games at the Forum. But no, just grew up here watching the Purple and Gold on TV in the days of Magic and Kareem.
So, still a Lakers fan. Still get NBA League Pass to watch their games. Still hate the Celts. The Finals last June were brutal.
So the Doc Rivers-led squad rolled to the Ford Center on Wednesday night and rolled over the Thunder. OKC put up a fight in the first, then laid down as the best team in the Eastern Conference methodically played their game and beat OKC beat 13.
Had great seats for this game. Attending an NBA game in OKC has always been an entertaining experience. Almost like attending a concert there. It’s as much for the atmosphere and seeing everyone as it is for the hoop.
Sonics trial update, debate over Lakers-Celtics Game 6
Darnell Mayberry, Mike Sherman, Mike Koehler and I debated the NBA Finals series, Game 6 is tonight. Also, an update on the trial underway in Seattle.
Listen here to the NBA in OKC podcast.
Lakers vs Celtics, the breakdown
Darnell Mayberry joined me on the sports desk today to discuss tomorrow night’s matchup of the NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Celtics.
I grew up a huge Lakers fan and still am. No reason why, born and raised in OKC. But I still pull for the LA team.
Should be a great series. Game one of the best of seven series is Thursday night in Bean town.

And then there is this take from The Oklahoman’s Berry Tramel.
Sorry if I don’t join the euphoria over a Lakers-Celtics NBA Finals.
