OKC skyline time lapse
I attached my GoPro Hero 2 camera on the Bricktown Parking Garage. Yes, I paid $5 for access, for what it’s worth.
Very windy day in Oklahoma on Monday. And every other day before that. The GoPro was attached with a Joby Gorillapod. I didn’t have any gaff tape with me to properly secure it. I was more worried about theft than anything, to be honest. So the Gorillapod did its job, but you can see some movement from the wind. Also I did not run any smooth cam in FCP, that might have helped, I’m not sure.
Beauty is the light in the heart
I lost two friends to breast cancer last year. Watching the above video tonight brought back many memories.
Mostly, it’s just not fair.
This video was posted on Vimeo about a week ago. It’s heart breaking. Uplifting. Inspiring. It’s very raw. Some images are quite vivid. It’s a beautiful story of love and survival.
But this video is something more: it’s powerful storytelling with a great mix of video and images.
The below pic is from about 10 years ago, playing coed softball, wearing ridiculous wigs with our friend in her honor. Good times.
