Grocery store run doesn’t outrun storm
I am that guy. The one who grabs the camera from the back of the Jeep and records the drive home after leaving the grocery store knowing full-well it’s about to dump wind, hail, lightning and rain all around.
Above is a 2 minute clip from the ride Monday night. The area around Whole Foods was taking it on the chin. I missed most of the lightning bolts, some really looking like they drilled the ground.

That what scary, it is always good to be cautious and be updated of the latest whether forecast and to stay in a safe place during a storm. Good thing you were able to go home safely and i could say i would have been frightened if i was in that Jeep. Just watching the video feels like I was there, and it was just scary. Well, keep safe.
