Chefs’ Feast raises serious cash, draws big crowd
Attended my first Chefs’ Feast last night. It’s an event that has been annual for over two decades in Oklahoma City. I’ve attended a lot of events at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, but this was probably the biggest crowd I’ve seen there for a charity deal. Over $100,000 was raised for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma last night.
Ryan Parrott of Iguana Grill and the ladies from Big Truck Tacos tied for people’s favorite among the 20-30 chefs. Great food no matter where you turned. Both Iguana and Big Truck offered a pull pork or meat full of flavor. Cheever’s enchiladas and Republic’s Classen sliders were right up there too.
