Darnell Mayberry with some internal perspective on the Thunder trades
The Oklahoman’s Darnell Mayberry and John Rohde know the Thunder in’s and out’s about as well as any media. Darnell is with the team in Orlando, they play tonight minus a few players they had earlier this week.
I spoke with Darnell via phone this afternoon. The above video is from that conversation. He’s pretty positive on the trade from the OKC perspective.
And he provided some honest reaction from the player’s side of things. They’re pretty bummed about the loss of their friends but realize it’s the league and a business. And a highly paid job.
