Illegal pitches and upsets at Women’s College World Series
OSU softball star Mariah Gearhart joined me in the OPUBCO Studios this morning to knock out some quick analysis of Game 1 action and to preview tonight’s two games.
Illegal pitches – called against Arizona and Florida in separate games yesterday – were the big story after the opening round. That, and all of the lower seeds won, including Georgia’s upset of defending champ Washington.
Games, at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, continue through the weekend with the Finals on Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday if necessary (best of 3 finals).

The alley on Route 66 is closing Sept. 3, 2010. Been there, bowled that. Fun place to bowl. Sad to see it close.
Liberty Belle coming this weekend
I spent Memorial Weekend in Tampa/St. Pete soaking up the sun. Yes, we have raging heat and plenty of sun here too. But there’s something about palm trees….
And while I was there, Angi Bruss and Todd Fraser shot the above video. And texted me about their adventures in the process.
Looks like fun.
“Liberty Belle” restored B-17 Bomber is coming to Oklahoma City June 5th and 6th for public flights and ground tours.
