deadCENTER visits Sundance
I saw on Twitter earlier this week that Cacky Poarch, Executive Director of the deadCENTER Film Festival in Oklahoma, was in Park City, Utah, for the Sundance Film Festival.
I sent a DM via Twitter to PR guru Rob Crissinger overnight. He contacted Cacky, not easy given her busy networking (party) schedule at Sundance. Within 12-14 hours we had Cacky on the phone as she headed for her return flight from the fest.
Above is a five minute chat with Cacky. She mentions the “Killer Inside Me,” the film that was partially shot in Oklahoma last year, her hat that dominated attention in Park City – including attracting designer Kenneth Cole’s attention – and about the upcoming 10th anniversary of the deadCENTER Film Festival.
Cacky is a fun interview. You can tell she enjoys her job, and it’s always fun to talk with people who are doing what they love.
