U2 crew holds press conference

NewsOK's Angi Bruss and The Oklahoman's George Lang interview Jake Berry.
U2 brings its 360 world tour to Norman on Sunday. Today there was a production media opportunity which included Q&A with tour production personnel, b-roll and still photography of production and stage.
We also were provided interviews with Craig Evans: U2 360° TOUR Director/SVP Global Operations ˆ Live Nation Global Touring and Jake Berry: U2 360° TOUR Production Manager.
The stage is absolutely massive. From outside the stadium, it lurks over the scoreboard. From inside, it’s simply overwhelming.
This is going to be a good show.
This is going to be cool

This won’t end well
It’s how we do video, people.

3 things about U2
In September, U2′s tour management sent out a highly polished EPK (electronic press kit) promoting the US leg of the tour. The above clip uses b-roll and sound from the EPK.
U2 plays in Norman on Sunday. I’ve seen U2 countless times, starting with the PopMart tour at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
On Saturday, we are taking part in the media tour of the stage. So we’ll get an up close look at the monster construction and talk with the people who make it happen.
NewsOK TV on Cox
Today, NewsOK TV on Cox debuted. Angi Bruss and I host the 30 minute show: 24 actual minutes of content, three 90 second breaks for a TRT of 28:30.
The premise is an expansion of NewsOK videos onto more platforms. We have mobile. We are pursuing venues. And now our partnership with our friends in the digital age allows us to provide a half hour of programming.
This first show uses existing segments you can find on NewsOK.com. We’ll continue to use some existing and shoot other videos specifically for this show.
