Here’s the pitch: for one night, 12 restaurants, 30 wineries and over 150 wines. Not a bad lineup. And for a good cause.
Last night the Thirst For a Cure 2009 event filled the Will Rogers Theatre on Western Avenue in NW OKC. The fundraiser hosted by the Thirst Wine Merchants (more here) raised funds for a local lady who has leukemia.
Proceeds from the event will go to “Restaurants & Rackets”, a charitable foundation recently founded to help provide aid to employees of the restaurant & club industry. – thirstwine.com
