deadCENTER Film Festival

Tonight kicked off the ninth annual deadCENTER Film Festival.
“Sweethearts of the Prison Rodeo” was screened on the streets of downtown OKC in the film district, see image to the right taken from the curb near the back.
Organizers on Twitter claim about 500 people attended the screening, they were hoping for about 200 according to The Oklahoman’s George Lang.
The deadCENTER Film Festival runs through Saturday at various locations throughout downtown OKC and Bricktown.
Jessica Alba posterizes, apologizes
Tanner Herriott shot b-roll of the various shark posters around downtown OKC. I caught up with Tanner and Steve Lackmeyer around 3 pm after the Bricktown Association meeting at the Bricktown Police Substation. We then went over to the area outside the YMCA to shoot in front of a poster.
Lackmeyer called me tonight to report during the taping of this segment, his phone was ringing. It was on silent. One of his sources was calling to give him the 411 that Jessica Alba was three blocks away on Sheraton taping a segment on Film Row.
