Natural gas chopper
Above: Taylor Shinn of Chesapeake Energy talks about the first-ever natural gas-powered chopper Chesapeake commissioned to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
A few weeks ago Chesapeake held a party. The energy company erected a massive tent near NW 63 and Western in Oklahoma City. Chesapeake CEO Aubrey McClendon led the celebration of the company’s 20th year.
As a highlight, a natural gas motorcycle was lowered as McClendon spoke. And who better than the Orange County Chopper guys to deliver the keys? Afterall, they built the chopper.
Earlier this week, we were invited to shoot video of the chopper. And it’s a beauty. Tanner Herriott shot the footage, Jack Burk edited. Chesapeake or Orange County Choppers provided some high quality footage of the bike on the road, so that’s much appreciated.
