Producers talk about “The Killer Inside Me”
Producers spoke with the local media in downtown Oklahoma City on Saturday. Filming of “The Killer Inside Me” took place at Robinson and Park Ave. Vintage cars drove around the block on director’s cue as extras dressed the part wondered the sidewalks. Actor Casey Affleck walked the street as the film captured a scene meant to look like Ft. Worth back in the day. Even a Texas flag flew outside Oklahoma City’s skyscrapers. Don’t see that often.
This clip is of Andrew Eaton. He’s from Ireland and said he liked to eat at Cheever’s in Oklahoma City along with director Michael Winterbottom.
A quick explanation about the bizarre camera angle: I was holding a mic for Brian Trumbly who was shooting NewsOK’s main piece, to get better audio for his rig. I was shooting with a Sony HVR while crouching beneath the TV station’s cameras. The typical gang media op.
