NBC fires worker who posted on Wikipedia

Tim Russert died last week. Before NBC News announced the death on air – it waited to inform Russert’s family – the Wikipedia entry on Russert had been updated with the news. NBC tracked down who updated the Wiki, and fired the junior level employee.
