Myanmar’s isolationist regime allowed the first plane of a major
international airlift to land Thursday with aid for cyclone survivors, a
U.N. official said, amid fears that lack of safe food and drinking water
could push the death toll above 100,000.

Jim Stafford reports The Oklahoma Grain and Feed Association drew on the
collective wisdom of grain elevator operators from across the state
Wednesday and estimated Oklahoma wheat farmers will harvest 149 million
bushels this year. Last year’s wheat crop of 98 million bushels was stunted
by both a late freeze in April and unrelenting rain during harvest.

Jake Trotter reports High definition video entertainment is coming to
Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Construction began last week on
dismantlement of the old scoreboard at the south end zone of Owen Field. In
its place before the start of the 2008 season will be a state-of-the-art,
$4.5 million high-definition video screen totaling 3,689 square feet.

Expect highs in the 70s today in OKC, there is a 20 percent chance of storms
tonight.
