Weather update for OKC
Strong storms caused the National Weather Service of Norman to issue a tornado warning for Oklahoma County at around 5 p.m. until about 5:45 p.m.
Police reported that a tornado dropped down near NW 150 and Penn. No damage related to that tornado has been reported.
There were reports of a tornado touching down near County Line and Wilshire, but nothing has been confirmed. The weather has caused several reports of power outages and downed tree limbs.
At 6 p.m., Oklahoma Gas and Electric was reporting about 11,000 customers without power, including 7,500 in north Oklahoma City and 1,666 in Bethany.

During the storm, there were reports that a broken power line near NW 40 and Council had caused gas leaks that had caused an evacuation of the area.
