Fox and Hound: Jones defeats Trinidad

Way to go Fox and Hound.

The bar on Memorial in Oklahoma City last night had the PPV boxing match between two big name fighters, Roy Jones Jr. and Felix Trinidad. And the place was packed.

Standing room only. I posted up against a post near the crowded. In fact any place you went inside the FnH was crowded. And people were there for the fight.

For a $7 cover charge you saw the PPV fight, including the undercards, on every screen throughout the facility. Good stuff. Not many sports bars in OKC get the PPV boxing matches. They tend to sometimes pick up the MMA fights, but not the sweet science, so it was good to see.

Judging by the hundreds packed inside, seems like more sports bars should follow.

And judging by the raised eyebrows of my fellow boxing fans – why was Corbin Bleu (Corbin Bleu!?) of High School Musical fame singing the national anthem?
