Weather update, the extended version
Brightcove allows us many advantages to online video. Among those advantages are the video players that are just a click away to create.
So during this afternoon’s weather coverage, I wrote a 4 minute video report. Then we chopped it up to post in a special player. Users can watch the videos in succession or click in an on demand manner.

Weather update, Sunday afternoon
With the winter weather (the phrasing caused a fuss in the newsroom last year) today, I came into the office for a quick video update. We recorded three quick videos, one with an overall update of the storm, one on our weather related closings and another on local events.
