OU-Texas week begins
Yahoo made a number of tweaks to its search engine, most notably adding a suggested search terms drop down. Beginning today, Yahoo will suggest ways to phrase a search request as a user searches, it will provide a list of related concepts and it will produce more links to photos, videos and music on the main results page. For example, if you search Oklahoma City news, it will suggest Oklahoma City newspaper. And I wonder where that link goes?
Cavemen debuts on ABC tonight at 7. The Geico ad campaign-turned-comedy has been blasted by critics. Cavemen centers on the everyday lives of two brothers and their friend who share an apartment in San Diego.
Our friends at the Dallas Morning News are getting into the OU-Texas spirit. Check out the Red River Rap Battle, pitting Mr. Pookie for Texas vs. Mr. Lucci, rapping for the Sooners. Yes, when I say Boomer, you say Sooner.
That’s today’s 3 things. Keep it real, ya’ll.
