Atlanta is considering banning baggy pants. Yes, baggy pants that show boxer shorts or thongs would be illegal under a proposed amendment to the ATL’s indecency laws. The amendment, sponsored by a city councilman, states that sagging pants are an “epidemic” that is becoming a “major concern” around the country. Legislation that creates a dress code would not likely survive a court challenge, but could generate conversation to find a solution. It is an epidemic afterall.
The Eagles will release “Long Road Out of Eden” in October. It’s their first full studio album for 28 years. The Eagles split in 1980 but reunited 14 years later. The first single from the album, “How Long,” has already had its video and radio premiere. The band’s “Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975″ is the best-selling album in recorded music history in the United States, with sales of more than 29 million copies.
