Wanted: Your Ideas

We’re hard at work on the next installment of Cold Case OKC. It promises to be a fascinating story — a tale of multiple murder and an organized group of killers.

But we’re also working on redesigning the Cold Case site, and we’d love to hear your ideas. What’s missing? What do you want more of? How can we make it better for you?

Post comments here or e-mail to coldcase@oklahoman.com.

Thanks!

Cold Case about Mary Prewitt, sounds very familiar to an assault on Tamara Hallmark in Duncan about 1964 leaving her severely
injured and suffered brain damage due to loss of blood. It was
to my recollection unsolved although a young man was unsuccessfully prosecuted. This left Duncan High School students as well as citizens divided. There may be no connection
but sounds very similar to the Tamara Hallmark attack in her
car 24 years earlier. Investigators thought the attack indicated a lot of anger.

Good suggestion, Mr. Hayes. I’ll look into this case.

I’m very dissapponited that my brother was murdered by Tremaine Walker aka KIS D ICE while I was deployed serving my country in 1998. The case is not solved and the person who did it is serving time for something else nevertheless he will be back on the Oklahoma CIty streets murdering again.

I cannot drive by nw23 and Rockwell without thinking about the murder of Kenny Owens. He was in 9th or 10th grade in the early 70s. The kids were hanging out in the old Humpty-Dumpty grocery store parking lot and he was shot. No one ever was convicted as far as I can recall. What really happened?

It would be interesting to hear some of the cold cases that have been solved after the long wait. And to know what was the breaking information that caused them to be solved. I hope and pray that all will be bought to a close and justice will be served in all the cases.

How about pictures and information about the unidentified bodies.
