An hour with Metro Transit passengers

A story ran in The Oklahoman today about Metro Transit officials discussing route safety and growth. I worked on the story for awhile and even had a chance to ride a bus with passengers for an hour. Here’s what all we got into:

Oklahoma City haunted attractions

In a previous post, I asked readers to send me suggestions on haunted houses to visit in Oklahoma City. Here’s a clip of one attraction I visited with NewsOK videographer Grayson Cook Tuesday.

Haunted house recommendations needed

NewsOK breaking news reporters are responsible for a lot more than just on-spot news. We also contribute to weekend content by writing longer pieces on various issues and events.

Since Halloween is right around the corner, I’m working on a story about haunted houses and what goes into bringing them to life. I’d like to chat with volunteers and workers about the design of houses and costumes and makeup.

But to do this, I need some recommendations of the scariest haunted houses in Oklahoma City.  Send me an email at tgibson@opubco.com or comment below. Also, if you know someone who works in a haunted house or attends several every year, let me know. I’d like to talk to them.
