SUV rolls, kills one in Oklahoma City
The driver of a sport utility vehicle is dead after a crash about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Lake Hefner Parkway and the Kilpatrick Turnpike. Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokeswoman Betsy Randolph said it isn’t yet clear what caused the accident. The vehicle was traveling north on Lake Hefner Parkway before it went through a guardrail and rolled over just north of the eastbound on-ramp to the turnpike. It came to a rest on the east shoulder of Lake Hefner Parkway, she said. The highway patrol is not releasing the crash victim’s name pending notification of next of kin.
