Pickup crashes into Oklahoma City building
One person was taken to an Edmond hospital after a pickup crashed into a store in east Oklahoma City, police said.
Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said officers received a call shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday that a pickup had exited Interstate 40 and was driving on the off-ramp when it ran into a convenience store that is being built across the street from the ramp. She said the accident was reported as an injury accident.
Lara O’Leary, spokeswoman for Emergency Management Services Authority, said paramedics transferred one person to a hospital for a non-emergency call.
