Enid man dies after bar altercation

Enid police have arrested a man on a complaint of murder after he was involved in a fatal fight with another man Tuesday night.

Grady Wayne Lewallen, 33, was arrested and booked into the Garfield County jail in connection with the death of 53-year-old Robert Abraham.

Police said officers were called to The Mine Company, 4709 W. Owen K. Garriott Road, at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a man found unresponsive in the bathroom.  Abraham was transferred to a local hospital with possible neck and chest injuries and died shortly after.

Enid Detectives were called to the scene and determined through their investigation that some type of physical altercation had ensued between Lewallen and Abraham in the bathroom at The Mine Company.
