Missing man’s skeletal remains found in Love County

Skeletal remains found last week in the Hickory Creek Wildlife Management Area in Love County have been positively identified as a 43-year-old man reported missing in 2011, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The state medical examiner’s office has identified the remains as Jordan Buckaloo, of Marietta, who was reported missing from the area in June 2011. At that time, local and state law enforcement agencies searched the area and interviewed several people who saw Buckaloo prior to him leaving a party, OSBI reports.

Officials said the cause and manner of his death has not been determined.
