Reward offered in Tulsa arson fire

A $3,500 reward is being offered for information about an arsonist who set a house fire Saturday that led to the injury of a Tulsa firefighter.

Tulsa World reporter Amanda Bland reports:

James P. O’Neal is being treated for complications of smoke inhalation. Other firefighters pulled him from a burning home in north Tulsa on Saturday.

O’Neal remains in intensive care but has recently been allowed to walk and talk, said Stan May, public information officer for the Tulsa Fire Department. May said O’Neal’s medical team is hopeful that he’ll be moved out of intensive care in the next few days.

Anyone with information about the arson or the arsonist is encouraged to call the Arson Hot Line at 918-596-2776.
