Reports of woman found dead after Allen house fire

We’ve received reports of a Pontotoc County woman found dead after a house fire Monday morning. Officials have not released the woman’s identity pending notification of family members.

Rusty Surette, regional director of communications for the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Red Cross, said the woman lived in the home alone and officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
