While state burns, Ponca City gets snow
As the state was consumed with wildfires, residents in Ponca City saw flurries. The National Weather Service in Norman confirmed reports of snow and freezing rain just after 1 a.m. Friday. Officials with the National Weather Service said the snow was likely residual precipitation on the tail end of a cold front that moved through the state over night.
