Roth still trailing
More of the Oklahoma City and Tulsa votes are in, and Democratic Corporation Commissioner Jim Roth continues to trail Republican challenger Dana Murphy.
With nearly 1,600 precincts reporting, Roth is trailing Murphy by nearly 30,000 votes in what some analysts might call an upset in the making.
Roth raised nearly twice as much money as his challenger.
Roth was appointed to the seat by Gov. Brad Henry to fill a vacancy created when Denise Bode resigned to take another job. The winner will serve the remaining two years of Bode’s term.
