Brian Maughan is doubling up J.D. Johnston in early election returns for the Oklahoma County District 2 Comissioner Republican runoff.
With 5 of 91 precincts reporting, Maughan has 182 votes to Johnston’s 84.

Runoff election results here tonight
Five legislative runoff elections will be decided tonight, with the state Senate victors winning the positions outright. We’ll also be following the Oklahoma County District 2 GOP runoff between Brian Maughan and J.D. Johnston. The winner of that contest will advance to the Nov. 4 general election to face Democrat Jim Dickinson. Stick around tonight as we follow these races.
