Is this a record turnout for Oklahoma?

Once again, Democratic voters turned out in greater numbers than did Republican voters. Is this part of a Blue Wave sweeping the country? Note that Barack Obama got more votes coming in 2nd than McCain did coming in first.

Lynn, I don’t think it is a blue wave sweeping the country. I think the conservatives that make this a red state are just refusing to vote for socialist liberals. There is no one on the GOP ticket that I would want to see as president. Of course there is no one on the Democratic side that I would like to see run this great country either. What ever the ultimate outcome, this is going to be a very sad election.

Duane, I think you’re correct for the most part. Unfortunately, Ron Paul, on the GOP ticket, got very little media attention. He was the only one I could vote for as he actually uses the Constitution as his guide, and his voting record as a Texas Congressman is proof of that. No flip-flopping there.
