I think Fedor wins via submission quick in the 1sr round over Rogers. I think Rogers’ only chance of winning is landing a huge knockout blow (like Henderson did at UFC 100). But I just dont see that happening. Fedor is way too skilled and will take this to the ground and will win quickly.

I want to see Winky squareoff with tough as nails Alfredo Angulo if he wins this fight and if Angulo goes through Harry Joe Yorgey. Nov. 7 th.

That would be interesting, Anderson. Brewer will be a tough one, but if he gets by it, I wonder if he would take that type of challenge this late in his career. Hate to phrase it like this, but is Angulo a “big enough name” for Wright?

Ditto on how great the Euro-fans were. The German crowd gave Taylor a fairly cordial welcome despite rooting fanatically for their hometown boy. Fight fans in Houston could take a page from that book….

Nice article! It’s especially nice to read a piece where the UFC is mentioned without a ton of criticism going toward boxing. This Super Six tournament has its flaws, but at least they’re trying something different and it does look to be exciting! Keep up the good work, Bob!
Thanks for the kind words, Joe. I’ve never understood why you can’t like boxing and UFC. They can co-exist. Each have great things, each have things to improve on, but they’re both enjoyable.

Good to hear about Hendricks being back in action.

King Mo is good at putting on the “freak show” for the Japanese crowd, but it will be interesting to see how he handles the hopefully better then Japan, but still weak, Strikeforce competition.

NSAC suspends and fines Cole Province for 9 months and $4,000 and flagged his last fight as a no contest.

terrible fight but at least not as bad as last week. Rule #1 is never leave it up too the ref to decide the fight.Kimbo didn’t fight back.of course with 264lbs of dead weight just LAYING on your head,what can you do.Sounds like Kimbo will get another chance & i’m all for it.Neither fighter did anything worth cheering for.

While this was not the biggest card of the week hype wise it was without a doubt the best card of the week. Dallas may have had the PPV and bigger names but OKC had the best fights hands down. Even better was how well the MMA fans of Oklahoma presented themselves, unlike the Dallas show there was no disrespectful booing as the Dallas show had. Thanks again Dana, the Fertittas and the entire UFC staff just dont take so long to come back next time.
