Christian Heritage Academy catcher Caden Cleveland signed with Morehead State of the Ohio Valley Conference.
Last year, Cleveland set a school record with a .541 batting average, which included a 30-game hit streak. As a sophomore, he hit .454 with 50 RBIs.
Cleveland chose Morehead State over Ole Miss.
Look for the signing list to run in Sunday’s Oklahoman.
CHA’s Caden Cleveland still weighing college choice
If you’ve looked at the signing list on the blog since Wednesday’s signing day, you might’ve noticed a change in the baseball list.
Christian Heritage catcher Caden Cleveland looked to be headed to Ole Miss but has reconsidered his decision. He took a visit this weekend before making a planned decision this week. It appears Cleveland will choose between the Rebels and Morehead State.
Here’s a video of Cleveland at the 2009 International High School Power Showcase in Tampa (A quick warning on the video: the first minute is advertising). Cleveland competed in the competition with his brother Cole. The brothers are the grandsons of former MLB standout Dom Demeter.
Deer Creek: Cale Coshow Signing Day video…

I look at Cale Coshow, and I don’t see a college baseball player. I see a big, strong offensive lineman. But man can Coshow play some baseball.
The Deer Creek senior made it official this last week, signing his letter of intent to play for Oklahoma. It was fun talking to Coshow because you can tell how conflicted he was between OSU and OU.
But then you realize how much love and passion he has for the Sooners, and you see how big his smile I got talking about it.
Coshow will be joined by Putnam North’s Casey Coyle at OU. Cale was at Casey’s signing in the morning and Casey turned right back around and was at Cale’s signing in the afternoon.
