So, the Sooners' date with Florida A&M is a great matchup for the Big Twelve and the state of Oklahoma?

Fair and balanced reporting Berry!

When you put teams in a position where just one loss can cost you everything then you get this. There is no room for error, so why would you play a big name your first time out? Get real. The nature of the NCAA lends itself to cupcake openers. Don't blame OSU for the way the NCAA operates. It's learned it's lesson the hard way last year.

I am surprised the final three games weren't TCU, OSU, and WVU in that order. The reason the WVU game wasn't a Sep game is the TV execs. Right now OU and WVU are the two teams who look to be the best of the Big XII. Without a Championship Game would the TV people want that game early in the season or late in the season? I am surprised they didn't demand it be the last game of the season.

I find it extremely entertaining that all the OU fans followed suit with Bobby to whine about the schedule and how wronged OU was wronged. OU always plays the Martyr. OSU wins that game if its played in Guatemala. Get over it. You just didn thave it last year. And give me a break with the...we lost this guy and we lost that guy and the wind was two miles an hour out of the north instead of the South. If there is one thing EVERYONE in the state of OK is tired of ITS band wagon sooner fans who have never seen OU's campus complaining when things dont turn out exactly the way they want. Get used to beceause the Cowboys are here to stay.

"And Chance and Jed, regarding Bedlam as the season ender, not so long ago Bob Stoops wanted the OSU game to played in October, so obviously it has never been an important item to OU when it’s played. Why should it matter to you?"

Bob, I simply like Bedlam as the last game. Playing another game after that just seems anticlimactic. And last year we had the potential of two 11-0 teams facing off for the final game. Didn't happen, don't think it will this year, but I've always liked it that way regardless of how good either team is, but now that both are having good years, it makes it extra special.

I'm not mad about it or anything, just stating a personal preference.

As an OSU season ticket holder I am not happy about it and there is no excuse to schedule a team this bad. For the non-conference home slate we get Savannah St. and LaLa. The only decent game is against Arizona, a team OSU crushed in each of the last two seasons. At least the home conference schedule is pretty good with Texas, TCU, and WVa.
