The B1G looks anything but this bowl season. But Ohio State and Penn State had to stay home. Also, Nebraska and Michigan played SEC teams close, at least for Nebraska only through 3 quarters and a very poor Wisconsin team hung with Stanford. If you look closer the B1G is not quite as bad as the record shows. The SEC should have lost two games and they don’t look head and shoulders above every one else this bowl season. In the Big XII, Iowa State and WVU played very badly and TCU let one slip away. Baylor and OSU looked very good…against not very good competiton. KState and OU could easily lose this week. The ACC looks better than they have in the past. FSU played an easy BCS game and it was close through 3 quarters and Clemson beat an overrated and poorly coached LSU. That is two bowl losses in a row for LSU and very poor coaching in both games. The mad hatter may just be mad…. I would say for most conferences it is a wash and no one conference stands out above the others. Oregon should beat KState but Coach Kelly will be looking to cash an NFL check and get out of having to testify about his program.
