Agree that thabo shoul have been in for the defensive posession. Agree with Chuck that Perk gets to many minutes. His strength is setting picks which should be the easiest basket ball skill to develop. He is a near automatic turnover with the ball so he makes the game 4 in 5 at that end. He can’t hit free throws, below average rebounder and shot blocker, not tall for a center, can’t jump, can’t shoot. Frankly he should br an off the bench enforcer.

Some of you people need to get a life – Thunder Boomers are in no way related to anything OU – rather it refers to thunder storms.
Besides you better be worried about the Clippers before worrying about Miami !

I agree with Matt. The whole lame “Boomer” thing is completely ridiculous. The Thunder is not OU, and do not want to be OU. They specifically did not choose OU colors because they did not want to be associated with (or mistaken for) the college sports program. There is a lot more to Oklahoma than just OU, and this is not amature school sports. This pathetic display of unimaginative “homerism” and the equally obnoxious KFOR nickname for the arena, “The Peak” need to be abandoned for good.

Ibaka better than Bosh? What type of eggnog do they serve in Oklahoma? Serge is a good player that has improved his jump shot and continues to block shots, but better than Bosh I think not. Chris can play the center and forward position, hit threes, block shots etc.

I guess travel didn’t watch this game because thabo and Perkins were basically nonexistent, just like they were in the finals. I would much rather have Martin in than thabo because he can score and plays good defense. Perkins is the one who should have been out. He screwed up and got out of position on that play to bosh and played a horrible game.

Completely agree Berry. But my comment is, when will you give up on “Boomers?” You’ve stuck with it and I give you credit for persistence, but it’s absolutely not catching on. I’ve never heard or read one other person who has used the term and with you’re following half of Oklahoma knows you’ve tried to coin it. I say time to just go with “Thunder,” or try something else that the OSU loving half of the state doesn’t associate with OU. I know that’s not your intention but it would be the same if you tried to call them “Aggies,” or “Pokes.” With that being said, most of the OU fans I know, including myself, haven’t caught onto it.
